The volume composed of four programs. First, the academic cooperation program for ASEAN-Korea solidarity, which consisted of a workshop and an academic conference. This program, aimed to provide venues to examine and discuss Northeast Asians, and the possibilities and ways of formalizing and institutionalizing their interactions in the future. The others are programs of joint research, exchange fellowship, and round table, which were expected to offer scholars and students from Korea and Southeast Asia opportunities to communicate and collaborate with each other.
