This publication was designed to provide a baseline on the status of HRD across ASEAN Member States (AMS) and identifies areas of improvement against the current progress. In particular, the study explores the HRD strategies, policies and programs currently applied in AMS in response to future challenges in a changing world of work. The Study was initiated by the ASEAN Secretariat to support Viet Nam’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2020 and in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through RECOTVET.
