The 6th ASEAN Energy Outlook (AEO6) reflects the ASEAN Member States’ desire to understand the current energy landscape and explore different opportunities and possibilities. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on the energy sector and undermined various efforts. The complexity of the situation is further heightened by the need to achieve multiple policy aims at once, on energy and other priorities. The energy policy choices made by each AMS will not only determine the sustainability of these countries’ economies, but also have implications for the region and the world. As a catalyst for regiona; energy cooperation, ACE has developed this Outlook to provide a comprehensive reference on energy across ASEAN.
