The Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (hereinafter referred to as “ASEAN”) – Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam;
REFERRING to the Charter of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, signed on 20 November 2007, in Singapore (hereinafter referred to as “ASEAN Charter”);
RECALLING the deposit of the Instrument of Accession to the ASEAN Charter by the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste on 25 October 2025 and the Declaration on the Admission of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste into ASEAN, signed on 26 October 2025 during the 47th ASEAN Summit, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia;
