The Certificate Award and Closing Ceremony of the 8th Spanish Language Course for Diplomats and Officials of ASEAN Member States and staff members of the ASEAN Secretariat was held on 15 December 2025 at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. It was attended by the Permanent Representatives to ASEAN or their representatives, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Corporate and Community Affairs, representatives of the Colombian Embassy, and the course awardees.
The course was an initiative by the Government of Colombia within the framework of “Promotion of Colombian Culture through Spanish Language Teaching”. It was conducted by the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana with the support of the Embassy of Colombia in Indonesia, from September to December 2025 in Jakarta, and brought together more than 50 participants.
