- The Twenty First ASEAN and China Transport Ministers Meeting (21st ATM+China) was held on 17 October 2022 in Bali, Indonesia in a hybrid format. The Meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister for Transportation of Indonesia and H.E. Mr DAI Dongchang, Vice Minister of Transport of the People’s Republic of China. The Meeting was preceded by the Twenty First ASEAN and China Senior Transport Officials Meeting (21st STOM+China) held on 15 October 2022.
- We welcomed the completion of signing by circulation of the Protocol 3 of ASEANChina Air Transport Agreement (AC-ATA) on the Expansion of Fifth Freedom Traffic Rights between Contracting Parties and looked forward to its successful implementation. We also urged relevant working group to look into the possibility of pursuing further liberalisation of the air services regime between and beyond ASEAN and China in order to bring wider economic and social benefits to the people of ASEAN and China.
