At the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024 in Dalian, China, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community Satvinder Singh conducted bilateral meeting with Secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) of the Philippines, Ivan John E. Uy.

Both sides exchanged views on the progress of negotiation of the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement, cybersecurity, and capacity building initiatives on electronic commerce, among others.
