Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community Michael Tene delivered a lecture on “ASEAN and the Indo-Pacific” today at the LUISS Guido Carli University, Italy. DSG Tene discussed the role and initiatives of ASEAN in maintaining peace, security, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond. He also highlighted the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific that reinforces the ASEAN-centered regional architecture, which has been recognised by ASEAN’s external partners as a framework for their mutual cooperation.
