Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, had a lunch roundtable discussion hosted by the First Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Regional and Maritime Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia, Robyn Mudie in Canberra today. They exchanged views on various issues of ASEAN-Australia relations, including Australia’s support to ASEAN Centrality, the role of ASEAN and Australia in maintaining peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the commitments of both sides to further advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
