Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, H.E. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, today met with the Chief State Counsel of the Department of Justice of the Philippines and ASLOM Leader of the Philippines, Mr. Dennis Arvin L. Chan in Manila. Both sides exchanged views on the preparation for the upcoming 24th ASLOM, the 13th ASEAN Law Ministers Meeting (“ALAWMM”), the First ALAWMM+Japan, and the Related Meetings from 10-15 November 2025 in Manila, the Philippines, the work of ASLOM and SOM-MLAT, and the Philippines’ priorities during its ASEAN Chairmanship.
