Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community, H.E. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, today paid a courtesy call on H.E. Bendito dos Santos Freitas, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, in Dili. During the Meeting, both sides discussed the ASEAN Secretariat’s continued support for Timor-Leste’s effective integration into ASEAN, follow-up to the outcomes of the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings, and priorities under the ASEAN Political-Security Community.
