Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, Nararya S. Soeprapto, delivered opening remarks at the Joint Session of the ASEAN- Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) and ASEAN-Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Dialogue on Implementing Collective Commitment to Establish Cooperation held at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat, today. During the Joint Session, opening remarks were also delivered by SOM Leader of ASEAN-Indonesia, Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro; Deputy Secretary-General for Strategic Policy & Programming of the PIF, Esala Nayasi; and Director of IORA, Amanda Aspden. The Dialogue is organised as a follow-up to signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ASEAN and the PIF and the MoU between ASEAN and IORA, in September 2023 in Jakarta.
