Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, H.E. Nararya Soeprapto, delivered remarks virtually at the Strategic Planning Workshop for the Philippines’ Presidency of AIPA 2026, held on 20 November 2025 in Manila, Philippines. He commended the House of Representatives of the Philippines and the AIPA Secretariat for aligning parliamentary priorities with ASEAN’s long-term goals and underscored the vital role of AIPA and Member Parliaments in supporting ASEAN Community Vision 2045. DSG Nararya encouraged AIPA to have deeper engagement with Timor-Leste’s National Parliament following its accession as a full member of ASEAN.
