Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto, received the Executive Director of the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR), I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja, in a courtesy visit today. DSG Nararya reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s commitment to working closely with ASEAN-IPR to ensure continued collaboration and meaningful outcomes for the region.
The discussion also explored opportunities for future collaboration, including the development of training programs to advance regional initiatives and strengthen the alignment of ASEAN-IPR’s work with ASEAN’s strategic goals. Both sides recognised the importance of closer cooperation in addressing shared challenges and fostering inclusive development across ASEAN Member States.
ASEAN-IPR is an entity associated with ASEAN, listed under Annex II of the ASEAN Charter. To date, ASEAN has 81 entities associated with ASEAN.
