H.E. Nararya Sanggramawijaya Soeprapto, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mariann Ruud Hagen, Ambassador of Norway to ASEAN, on 10 April 2026 at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat.

The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between ASEAN and Norway. Discussions covered ASEAN Secretariat’s institutional management, engagement with ASEAN entities and centres, as well as ongoing programme and project cooperation.

DSG Nararya expressed appreciation for Norway’s continued support to ASEAN Community-building efforts, particularly in areas such as climate change, environmental sustainability, maritime cooperation, and sustainable development. Both sides underscored their commitment to further strengthening collaboration under the ASEAN–Norway Practical Cooperation Areas (2026–2030), with a view to delivering impactful and forward-looking initiatives that contribute to a resilient and sustainable ASEAN Community.
