Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Socio-Cultural Community San Lwin participated in the 21st Meeting of the Senior Officials Responsible for Information (21st SOMRI) on 19-20 November 2024 in Ha Long, Viet Nam.
The Meeting discussed the implementation of the AMRI Vision Statement 2035, and the Da Nang Declaration, the development of the ASEAN Communications Master Plan III, and reviewed the priorities and partnerships of SOMRI and the three SOMRI Working Groups.
At the sidelines of the 21st SOMRI Meeting, DSG San Lwin participated in a Roundtable Discussion on AI which was convened as part of the Viet Nam International Digital Week, and had a breakfast meeting with Dr. Phan Tam, Vice Minister, Ministry of Information and Communications, Viet Nam.
