Today, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community Michael Tene received a courtesy call by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to ASEAN Jalal Mirzayev at the ASEAN Secretariat. They exchanged views on ways and means to promote cooperation with ASEAN and Azerbaijan, including through the framework of the ASEAN-Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) relations. They also discussed Azerbaijan’s interest in acceding to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
