World Expos are global exhibitions that unite people and nations in showcasing their achievements and co-creating solutions to tackle pressing challenges of our society. The World Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka, Japan, from 13 April 2025 to 13 October 2025, with the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” under three sub-themes: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives.
ASEAN, at the invitation of the Government of Japan, is taking part in the World Expo 2025 Osaka as an Official Participant, alongside more than 150 other countries and international organisations. The ASEAN Pavilion centers around the theme “Building Bridges”, featuring stories of ASEAN’s successes and demonstrating how its cooperation mechanisms, initiatives, and associated organisations benefit both its citizens and the world beyond by creating connections rather than divisions. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover, experience, and learn more about ASEAN through a dynamic lineup of activities and programs.
