The ASEAN Secretariat warmly welcomes visual artist Srun Rida of Cambodia as resident artist for the 5th ASEAN Artists Residency Programme (AARP). Mr Srun will be based in the ASEAN Secretariat from 23 May to 20 June 2023 as he creates an art piece on unity amidst diversity in ASEAN.

Mr Srun attended the Royal University of Fine Arts in 2017 and has taken courses both in his native Cambodia and in France to develop his techniques. He is a contemporary artist who uses various media such as painting, printmaking, photography, and installation to create his art. His themes include the daily interaction of human society with the environment, living with the changing image of social development, and the pros and cons of that change.
