Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community  Satvinder Singh delivered the opening remarks at the Joint Opening Ceremony of AMC 2024 and 24th ASOMM Meeting and Its Associated Meetings. The Conference was officiated by Yuliot Tanjung, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Republic of Indonesia.

With the theme “Towards Sustainable Investment Destination”, the Conference featured 18 sessions with 50 speakers and marked the pivotal moment to foster collaboration with the private sector to promote ASEAN as the minerals investment destination. The Conference took place on 18-20 November 2024 and was organised by the ASEAN Federation of Mining Association (AFMA), Indonesia Mining Association (IMA),  Tambang Magazine and Indonesia Mining Service Association (IMSA-ASPINDO).
