The 10th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Minerals (AMMin) and its Associated Meetings and Events were held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The 10th AMMin was officiated by H.E. Malaithong Kommasith, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Lao PDR, under the theme “Invest ASEAN: Minerals for the Future”. It was preceded by the 25th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Minerals (ASOMM), the 18th ASOMM Plus Three Consultation and the Meeting of the Board of Judges for the ASEAN Mineral Awards (AMA). The ASEAN Minerals Investment Forum (AMVest) 2025, High-Level Dialogue on Investment Opportunities, Challenges and Creating Bankable Projects as well as 4th AMA Awarding Ceremonies were also held in conjunction.
The Meeting reaffirmed the strategic importance of the minerals sector in advancing ASEAN’s economic integration, strengthening the region’s role in global supply chains, and supporting the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 as well as the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
