On 4 August 2025, the Honourable Dr Anne Aly MP, Minister for International Development, Small Business and Multicultural Affairs of Australia, made a courtesy visit to the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. During her visit, Minister Aly was received by Deputy Secretary-General for Community and Corporate Affairs, Nararya S. Soeprapto. The visit also included a brief tour of the ASEAN Gallery and the Heritage Building. The visit showcased the history of ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretariat’s institutional heritage, and context to Australia’s longstanding partnership with the region.
