Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) of Japan, H.E. Hagiuda Kōichi met with Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dato Lim Jock Hoi, on 10 January 2022. The Ambassador of Japan to the ASEAN, H.E. Chiba Akira, and President of ERIA, Mr. Nishimura Hidetoshi, also attended the Meeting. The Meeting discussed ASEAN-Japan economic cooperation, Asia-Japan Investing for the Future initiative, the support of ERIA for ASEAN economic integration, and the implementation of the RCEP Agreement.
