This two-part video by Hein Htoo Aung creatively uses ten bamboo sticks to represent the ten ASEAN countries. It first tells the story of why ASEAN is important to youth and then shows youth’s aspirations and hopes for the next fifty years of ASEAN.

In the first scene, the viewer learns that ASEAN is important to youth because its historical importance teaches us to care, to share and to support each other for community development. The second half of the video uses the construction of simple things (such as a house, ship, bridge, etc.) with bamboo sticks as physical representation of youth’s aspirations for the next fifty years of ASEAN.
