Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the AEM-USTR Consultation held in Manila, the Philippines.
The Meeting discussed the economic cooperation between ASEAN and the United States, including the progress of the implementation of the 2025-2026 ASEAN-U.S. Trade and Investment Framework Arrangement (TIFA) Work Plan and the 2026-2027 TIFA Work Plan. The Meeting also exchanged views on recent regional and global economic developments and ways to further deepen ASEAN-U.S. economic ties.
