Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, met with the Executive Vice-President for an Economy that Works for People and the EU Trade Commissioner, Valdis Dombrovskis, during the 3rd EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum and the 24th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting in Brussels. They reiterated the significance of the Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement (CATA), which should be capitalised in increasing volume of trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges, among others. Furthermore, they looked forward to a region-to-region FTA and highlighted its benefits to the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership.
