Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the 23rd ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Council Meeting today at the St Regis Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meeting reviewed the progress made in implementing the AEC Blueprint 2025, discussed the 2023 Priority Economic Deliverables during Indonesia’s Chairmanship and deliberated on cross-pillar initiatives related to sustainability and digital transformation. Additionally, a Special Retreat Session preceded the meeting, during which AEC Council Ministers engaged in discussions regarding the AEC Post-2025 Agenda.
