Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this evening attended a cocktail reception hosted by the US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Caryn R. McClelland. Ambassador Ted Osius, President & CEO of the US-ABC, representatives from the Government of Brunei Darussalam as well as some US companies were also in attendance. Dr. Kao encouraged US businesses to invest more in ASEAN region so as to contribute to the strengthening of the ASEAN-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as well as the enhancement of people-to-people ties between ASEAN and the US.
