Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, attended a luncheon hosted by Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN, H.E. Kiya Masahiko, at the Ambassador’s residence. Both sides exchanged views on ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including follow-up to the outcomes of the Commemorative Summit on the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation held in Tokyo, Japan, in December 2023. They also discussed SG Dr. Kao’s working visit to Japan, in conjunction with the ASEAN-Japan Economic Co-Creation Forum and the ASEAN-Japan Young Business Leaders’ Summit/Future Generation Business Leaders’ Summit, in December of this year.
