On 11 June 2024, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, attended a working dinner with a group of university leaders based in Washington D.C. The discussion centered on the importance of peace in ensuring ASEAN’s prosperity. Recognising the critical role of young leaders in shaping the region’s future, SG Dr. Kao shared insights on the opportunities and challenges the region is currently experiencing.
