Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the ASEAN-Japan Tourism Ministers’ Special Dialogue in Tokyo, Japan to commemorate the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation. ASEAN and Japan reached common understanding to further promote sustainable tourism and advance tourism exchanges through various mutually-beneficial activities and projects.
The Tourism Ministers also conducted dialogues with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and ASEAN-Japan Centre.
