Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn today attended the 11th Meeting of ASEAN and India Tourism Ministers, in conjunction with the 27th Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Lao PDR Suanesavanh Vignaket co-chaired the Meeting along with Ambassador of India to ASEAN Jayant N. Khobgrade.
Dr. Kao shared his views on ways to strengthen cooperation between ASEAN and India under the ASEAN-India Tourism Work Plan, especially those related to Cruise Tourism in view that there is untapped potential of overnight coastal tourism.
