Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, attended the 3rd EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels this morning. The Forum has been convened since 2022 as an avenue for EU member states to discuss the implementation of the EU’s Strategy for Cooperation with countries in the Indo-Pacific region, including ASEAN Member States. This year the Forum focused on the issues of geopolitical and security challenges in the Indo-Pacific; shared prosperity, economic resilience and investments; and accelerating green and energy transition.
