Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn today paid a courtesy call on Minister of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia Heng Sour in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Dr Kao congratulated Minister Heng Sour on his recent appointment in his current Ministerial post earlier this year and commended Cambodia for its contributions in the implementation of the ASEAN Labour Ministers’ Work Programme 2021-2025. They exchanged views on ways to further strengthen ASEAN’s cooperation in labour, including the protection and promotion of the rights of migrant workers in the region and preparation for future-ready ASEAN workforce.
