Today at the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) headquarters in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn joined the celebration of the centre’s 18th anniversary with a tree planting activity as well as the handover of new ASEAN Heritage Parks Certificates. Dr Kao commended the good work of the ACB as a regional centre of excellence on biodiversity in advancing cooperation among the ASEAN Member States through the ASEAN Heritage Parks Programme (AHP), the ASEAN Green Initiative (AGI), and the ASEAN Biodiversity Heroes (ABH) as well as through partnership development.
