Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this evening delivered congratulatory remarks at the 6^th ASEAN-Korea Day Reception, hosted by the Mission of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to ASEAN, to commemorate the 35^th Anniversary of ASEAN-ROK Dialogue Relations in Jakarta, Indonesia. SG Dr. Kao highlighted the significant achievements made over the past three and half decades of ASEAN-ROK ties, particularly the recent establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) at the ASEAN-ROK Summit to commemorate the 35^th Anniversary of Dialogue Relations held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, last month. SG Dr. Kao expressed appreciation for the ROK’s continuous support for ASEAN Community building and integration efforts, and reaffirmed ASEAN’s commitment to working closely with the ROK to advance the CSP that is meaningful, substantive and mutually beneficial.
