Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn today graced the 48th Sapru House Lecture event at the headquarters of the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) in New Delhi. Dr Kao delivered a lecture on “The ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the Evolving Regional Architecture”. In his lecture, Dr Kao highlighted the roles and initiatives of ASEAN in maintaining peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond; reviewed ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership; and discussed ideas on how ASEAN and India could further elevate their partnership to a greater height, thus playing a greater role in the Indo-Pacific amidst the growing geostrategic and geo-economic challenges that the world is facing.
