Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn delivered a lecture on ‘The Future of ASEAN: Challenges and Opportunities Beyond 2025’ at the Divinity School, University of Oxford on 1 November. Dr Kao was welcomed by Head of Oxford School of Global and Area Studies (OSGA) Professor Paul Chaisty and fellow academics.

This historic visit also marked the moment where Dr Kao became an Honourable Member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute of ASEAN Studies at the University of Oxford, at the invitation of the University of Oxford.
