Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered the Opening Remarks at the Business Dialogue on ASEAN’s Digital Economy 2026 in Manila, Philippines. Convened at the sidelines of the 58th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting, the Dialogue brought together policymakers, business leaders and key stakeholders to discuss the state of ASEAN’s digital economy and identify concrete opportunities for public-private collaboration. The discussions focused on advancing ASEAN’s ambition to strengthen regional connectivity, accelerate digital transformation and foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth, contributing to the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and supporting the Philippines’ Chairship priorities of building systemic connections for shared prosperity across the region.
