Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn underscored ASEAN’s commitment in enhancing our region’s attractiveness as a sustainable investment destination during his remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the 9th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Minerals and Associated Meetings held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Dr Kao further reaffirmed that sustainable resource development and environmental initiatives remains a cornerstone of ASEAN’s strategy for minerals to respond to the rising minerals demand driven by the global transition towards low carbon technologies, twin energy, and digital revolutions.  Minister of Mines and Energy of Cambodia Keo Rottanak also graced the Opening Ceremony.
