Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered speech at the Opening Ceremony of the Meeting of Governors and Mayors of ASEAN Capitals 2024 and the ASEAN Mayors Forum today in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Dr. Kao emphasised that investing in sustainability and building resilience of cities has been a priority in ASEAN Community Building efforts, through the implementation of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025, and this priority will be reinforced in the development of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, particularly the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan.
