Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered remarks at the 22nd CAEXPO Opening Ceremony, in Nanning, China. This year’s CAEXPO raises the theme of “Digital Intelligence and Innovation empower Development – Leveraging ASEAN-China FTA 3.0 new opportunities for an even closer ASEAN-China community with a shared future.” In his remarks, SG Dr. Kao encouraged ASEAN and China to promote seamless digital trade; collaborate on digital infrastructure and emerging technologies; and close the digital divide.
