On the margins of his Working Visit to Chile, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered remarks at the Commemoration of the Fifth Anniversary of the ASEAN-Chile Development Partnership and the Celebration of the 57th ASEAN Day in Santiago, Chile. SG Dr. Kao Kim Hourn highlighted that the ASEAN-Chile relations have brought the two regions closer despite geographical distance through meaningful cooperation activities. He underlined the opportunities and potential cooperation between both sides to strengthen ties, built upon the achievements in the last five years.
SG Dr. Kao Kim Hourn also reiterated the need for ASEAN and Chile to continue to demonstrate commitment to strengthening relations and ensuring that cooperation remains mutually beneficial.
