Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the 19th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) and Its Related Meetings, in Melaka, Malaysia. In his remarks, Dr. Kao highlighted the importance of collective and coordinated action in addressing the complex and multifaceted nature of transnational crime. The Opening Ceremony was officiated by The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chair of ASEAN in 2025.
