Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this evening delivered remarks at a Reception hosted by the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN, Ambassador Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, to mark the conclusion of Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025. In his remarks, Dr. Kao commended Malaysia’s inclusive and sustainability-driven leadership and the successful delivery of key priorities, including the launch of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future. The event was attended by other Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, Ambassadors of external partner countries to ASEAN and ASEAN Secretariat staff members.
