Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered remarks via video message at the 18th Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA)’s Governing Board Meeting and the Meeting between ERIA, Ambassadors of ERIA Member States, and Dialogue Partners, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. In his video message, Dr. Kao reaffirmed ASEAN’s commitment to multilateralism and constructive engagement amidst growing global trade tensions. The Meeting discussed, among others, the importance of evidence-based policy and called for continued collaboration to translate research into actionable policies that advance a cohesive, resilient, and future-ready ASEAN.
