On 11 June 2024, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr Kao Kim Hourn, and USAID Administrator, Samantha Power, held a fruitful meeting to discuss ASEAN – U.S. development cooperation activities. They highlighted significant contribution of ASEAN-USAID projects to ASEAN Community building efforts, and looked forward to the implementation of the “ASEAN-USAID Partnership Program,” which will further strengthen ASEAN’s capacity to advance economic growth, trade, good governance, resilience and stability in the region.
