Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Mr. Wang Lixin, President of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) at its headquarters Beijing, China, to discuss and explore potential cooperation in the field of rail transport and infrastructure development between ASEAN and China, with a view to strengthening long-term regional transport connectivity, sustainability, and resilience.
SG Dr. Kao also toured the China Railway Construction Exhibition Hall and witnessed the state-of-the-art innovation in railway infrastructure projects by CRCC, in particular on Chinese railway development technology and railway construction achievements.
