This afternoon, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, gave a separate interview to Nikkei Asia on the sidelines of his Working Visit to Japan and his participation in the Nikkei Forum 29th Future of Asia. Dr. Kao shared his thoughts on ASEAN’s current priorities, including efforts to boost economic growth and elaborated on other works that ASEAN has been doing to contribute to the ongoing process of the ASEAN Community building as well as to engage with its external partners like Japan for mutual benefits of the two peoples.
