Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a pull-aside meeting with H.E. Pengiran Dato Shamhary Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications of Brunei Darussalam, on the sidelines of the Thirty-First ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation for Brunei Darussalam’s continued leadership in advancing the ASEAN–UK Air Services Agreement negotiations and noted the substantial progress achieved to date. He also welcomed Brunei’s ongoing efforts in the ASEAN port performance monitoring initiative and looked forward to the submission of Brunei’s Instrument of Ratification for the ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Inter-State Transport (AFAFIST).
